How are tech company helping 2015 Nepal earthquake victims

Twitter: Micro blogging site twitter is working closely with UNICEF to raise funds for the victims.

Viber: Viber has made viber out calls free when you call from Nepal. This has connected many Nepali to their relatives abroad in this time of need.

US telecom operators: US operators like T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T, Time Warner Cable, Sprint and others have offered free call and messages to Nepal from the United States.

Skype: Microsoft's sister company Skype has offered free call from and to Nepal in any part of the world.

Line: Line a mobile messaging services has offered its premium call services for free to call Nepal for its United Kingdom users.

Indian telecom operators: Indian telecom operators have provided free calls to Nepal from India. The operators includes Idea cellular, Vodafone, Aircel, Airtel, MTNL, BSNL etc.

Google: Search giant google has created a missing person database for easy access and has given heavy discount in its voice call services.

Facebook: Facebook has implement a safety check features to mark oneself and other as safe. It has also raised 1 Arab rupees as donation. It has also promised 20 lakh dollar for resettlement efforts of earthquake victims.

Apple: Apple is working with red cross for relief efforts. Apple is using its iTunes store to raise fund for the Nepal earthquake victim 2015.
