(1) Did you know that Google search
engine can be used as a calculator? Just give your mathematical
expression in the search box and press Search button. You will get your
answer in the search result page. E.g.: put 10+25-8 in search box and
you will get the result as 10+25-8=27.
(2) You can also use wildcard while
searching. For example put United * of America and you will get the
result containing any word between United and of America.
(3) Do you have any idea what the “I
am feeling Lucky” button does? If not than here it goes. Enter your
search query in the search box and press “I am feeling Lucky” button and
you will land to another site which was at the 1st position
in Google search engine organic search result. For e.g.: If you type
Microsoft in search box and press “I am feeling Lucky” button and you
will land to Microsoft official web site www.microsoft.com
(4) Do you have an idea that Google
provides some games? In your address bar type
www.google.com/Easter/feature_easter.html and press Enter. Than you will
land on a site which has hidden games provided by Google.
(5) In Google search box type “elgoog”
and press “I am feeling Lucky” button. I will not tell you what happens
then. Please find it out yourself. Don’t forget to try it out, it’s
really interesting.
(6) If you are looking to download
some files than type “your query filetype: pdf”. Than you will get all
the pdf files related to your search query. E.g.: type “php
filetype:pdf” and you will get a list of PDF files related to PHP.
(7) Go to images.google.com and type atari breakout and click on search.
(8) Just type Do a barrel roll on Google and hit search.
(9) Search Askew on Google and see what happens.
(10) Do you like to play game on Google? Go to google.com, Search for Zerg Rush On result page ‘O’ will attack the search result and you have to kill these O’s by clicking on it.
(11) Go to Google and type Epic Google. Now hit I am feeling lucky or go to first result.
(12) Looking for a definition or meaning of a word. Try this on Google: define: your word
(13) Open google.com, in the search box type: GOOGLE SPHERE and open the first result.
(14) Open google.com, in the search box type: GOOGLE GRAVITY and open the 1st result.
(15) Finally, Google can now be used to
plot various 2D and 3D plots. All you have to do is type equation on
Google search field and hit enter. The resulting graph will be shown in
the search result page.
