Services provided by Google

I think most of us love google because they are the number one company on the web and making a fortune. I know that I have used many google services over the years and I really love them. I really don’t know how many services they provide but here is a list of few that I know off and use. I hope you have used few of them as well.

1. Google Search (Google.com): This is nothing new. When we want to search something the first site that comes to our mind is Google. You know what this is and I really don’t want to waste more time on this one.
2. Google Maps (maps.google.com): A Google map is for local businesses and to view maps. You should definitely use Google maps to get driving directions.
3. Google Videos (video.google.com): This is the place where you can search and watch millions of videos and also participate in discussion.
4. Google Toolbar (toolbar.google.com): Google toolbar is available for Firefox, google chrome and internet Explorer only. Google toolbar has a load of features like translation and page rank checker only to name a few.
5. Google Labs (googlelabs.com): Google labs is one of the places where you can play around with prototypes of Google’s wild and crazy ideas and you also get a chance to provide feedback to Google engineers who are involved in the development.  
6. Google Translator (translate.google.com): This is the web application that is used to translate between languages. You can find more than 20 languages to translate.
7. Google News (news.google.com): Google news is a place where you can get aggregated headlines of the world’s news sources.
8. Google Earth (earth.google.com): This is undoubtedly the best thing that Google has come up with. With the help of Google Earth you can see the whole world via an application. All images used in Google Earth are taken from satellite and they are so clear that you can even see person walking on the street. This is the must have application for all.
9. Google Local sites: Google also offers country specific search Engine which helps in searching sites from specific country only. Example Google UK (google.co.uk), Google Spain (google.es), Google New Zealand (google.co.nz), Google India (google.co.in) etc.

As I have said this is only a few that I can remember right now. There are so many others that is worth mentioning. Go ahead and check out Google more carefully and I am sure you will find something that will truly impress you.
